What is Search Engine Optimization?

First thing i ask you that, what would you type in search engine bar to find something on the web? Suppose you want to read blogs on seo, then first you open the web and type blogging services for seo, and you can see different blogging sites. The process implemented on the website that you are seeing on your search page is called Search Engine Optimization.



 When any business runs on the web, the business owner wants the business website to be appear on the first page of the search results. This can be done only with the proper and synchronized optimization techniques. The SEOs should know how to make balanced ratio between organic search and PPC. PPC includes paid ads and ad campaigns having pay per click process. Organic search results are the Web page listings that most closely match the user’s search query based on relevance. There are mainly two techniques in SEO :
1) On page Optimization
2) Off Page Optimization

On page Optimization includes original html code, meta tags, keywords placement, keyword density, description and page title. Also other things like internal linking, content writing, image and video placing, using H tags and alt tags, tracking targeted keywords are important.

Off page optimization includes link popularity, page rank, using social media and social book marking, artical writing and submissions, link exchange and tracking of all active keywords and refine strategy as required.
